  5. Check my golang client

Hey folks, I've been playing around with blitimage, and I really liked, (no more imagemagick!, at least for me xD ).

So I've created this golang client and I'll really like you to take a look, it's still a work in progress, but if you can play with it an give me feedback, that would be awesome.

PS: Yes I know, I'm giving you feedback to get feedback

  6. Option to rotate images by exif information

My current service needs to thumbnail images on my S3 bucket, some of which are stored in their original orientation but with EXIF rotation data on the right way up.

Currently, this means that when I thumbnail images, it resizes them the wrong way up, then strips the metadata telling me which way is up. Even with save_metadata enabled, this would mean that a 300x200 resize is now a 200x300 image.

I'd like a function to rotate images based on this information, if it exists in the image, that I can apply before the thumbnailing.

  7. Provide Sample Postback to Specified URL

It will really help developers to implement code to handle postbacks if there is a online page where developers can enter a postback URL and select one of the example postbacks (e.g. one will return an error, one will return a success, etc). And Blitline actually then send the sample postback to that URL. Currently, we will have to actually have all the code to submit a job, and to handle different conditions, try to make something failed during job submissions etc.

It was also somewhat unclear how the postback data was arranged. I wasn't clear if the data was…

  10. Give full Single Page Application SEO instructions

I'm looking at http://www.blitline.com/docs/blitshot#seo which is very appealing to me. Rather than running an EC2 with node+phantom to take snapshots of my SPA, I could take them using your service.

That seems fine and dandy --- however what abotu the next part of getting google and other search engine crawlers to look at those snapshots? How would I do that for "example.com" which we will pretend is an SPA.

Normally we would use rewrite rules like:
    RewriteCond %{QUERYSTRING} ^escapedfragment=(.*)$

  11. Reset the gist runner after a job with a postback

After issuing a job with a postback, the gist runner still goes into "pending" mode and won't let you submit another job until it gets the long poll that is never coming.

  12. Allow signups via an email address

We like your service, but as a responsible company, we really don't like have operational accounts tied to personal things, like github accounts or an individual's email.

  13. Resend Postback Button

It would be really awesome if there was a button to resend the postback call. This would really help when debugging why something isn't working.

It would be awesome on the dashboard.

    Much Thanks,

    Mike

  14. allow for a "cname" field in the s3 destination

if present, would be used to construct the s3_url. cname values are made to buckets, so it would remove the bucket name path prefix.
